Anyway, as ‘The Hindu’ says, when Rotary Mysore Midtown Adventure Foundation and International Academy of Mountaineering and Allied Sports organised an orientation session at Mysore Public School on Children’s Day over 125 students lined up to have a stab at archery. Even the school principal Mr M Ramachandran tried his hand. Whether or not his arrow found its mark is not reported. The Academy spokesman Mr Deepak Solanki says they plan to hold such sessions in other schools and colleges as well. And an archery camp is planned in early December for students with speech and hearing impairment in observance of World Disabled Day.
