We could expect to have broadband Internet connectivity, citywide, from April 2005, said BSNL general manager T K Chandrashekar at a Q & A following his talk at the Institution of Engineers (March 10, 2005). For registration access www.bsnl.co.in.
We now have it from BSNL GM (The Hindu June 7, 2005) that broadband would be made available from June-end in the following telephone exchange areas - Nazarabad, Gokulam, RTTC, Hebbal, Kuvempunagar, Belavadi, Metagalli, Devaraj Urs Road, Bannimantap, Electronic City, Srirampura, Udayagiri and Lakshmipuram.
